Well, it looks like I caught the bug too! I always enjoying NaNoWriMo and even though things have been insanely busy, it seems I can’t escape the excitement of NaNo coming around the corner.
The story is still in pieces in my brain, but I started doing character profiles yesterday in my notebook and things are starting to come together! I’m getting excited for it, so let’s see where it goes.
How’s everyone else’s NaNoWriMo plans going so far?

I need to set down the book I’m revising and actually do some NaNoWriMo prep! I have such a tiny idea for this year that needs to get way more developed for anything to come of it.

I wrote out a few pages of outline but realized that I wanted to change around the entire order of Act I…so I’m at that point now, lol. I only have one character in pretty much the whole book, so nailing her in a way that’s compelling is very challenging as well. I’m basing her partly on our friend ever_obsessed though (the character’s name is Missy Gates. Because Missy loved National Treasure so much, I’m giving her Ben’s last name), because I’m really sad Missy’s been MIA for over a year and I want to know what happened to her
It’s odd, with the reapers books, the first one and the sixth one are done, just need editing. Haha. So yeah I need to work on those but it’s a monster. I think I just need to start editing the first one and go from there.
This is a new, one-shot romance story. 🙂
Oh that sounds cool! Yeah, I know. I miss her too. Wonder what happened to her. She was getting into Darcy/Loki which I was excited about, and then she fell off. 😦
Oh yeah! The May-December one. I remember reading your post about that. I’m pretty interested in that type of relationship, in fiction, so I’m excited to see where you go with it.
Yeah she hasn’t updated her Tumblr or LJ in almost two years *sigh* I may PM her and ask about Christmas cards this year, just to see if I can get in touch. It bothers me when people vanish from fandom without a word because I will always wonder if they’re okay.

I’ve had two stories planned out, and then a little over a week ago started developing a third idea. This third idea has been haunting me, but I haven’t been sure how to make it work. This morning, I was pondering it again, and just let the story kind of play out in my head (while in the shower of course, since that’s where most of my ideas come to me LOL), and all of a sudden, it just came to me. I got chills when I realized what it was going to be. I can’t wait to get started! 😀
So third idea wins! That’s awesome how that inspiration just assaulted you. It’s like you can’t even ignore it. Good luck!
